This is a beautifully smooth wine made from Spanish Tempranillo grapes. It has lifted nose with intense raspberry and black current flavours from 10% whole bunch fermentation . This is enhanced with toasted French oak producing a wine with fine tannins and excellent structure.
These Tempranillo grapes were sourced from our neighbour’s vineyard in Barjarg. They were hand picked at ideal sugar levels and cold soaked for 7 days to extract maximum flavour prior to fermentation. Once through both fermentations, this wine was aged on French oak until bottling.
